Privacy notice: waiting list and prototype
This page explains how ACQ S.r.l. processes the data you leave in the forms on acq.world, for the waiting list and for opening the prototype, and what rights you have.
Who handles your data
The data controller is ACQ S.r.l., Vicenza, Italy. For any question about your data, you can write to privacy@acq.world.
What data we collect
Your full name, company, work email, country, sector, number of people in the company, the interest you indicate and your message, if you write one. To open the prototype, your email is enough; the company is optional. To protect the forms from abuse, we also record the date and time of submission and your IP address.
Why we use it
- To write to you when ACQ opens in your country.
- To give you access to the clickable prototype.
- To arrange a presentation or a confidential meeting, if you ask for one.
- To reply to your message.
We don't use your data to profile you, we don't sell it and we don't pass it on to third parties for their marketing.
On what basis
Your consent, which you give with the tick box on the form and can withdraw at any time. For the IP address, our legitimate interest in protecting the service from abuse.
How long we keep it
Up to twelve months after the service opens in your country, or until you withdraw your consent, if that happens first. The IP address for ninety days at most.
Who sees it
The people at ACQ who deal with it, and the provider that hosts the website and email, which acts as a processor on our behalf. If the data ever leaves the European Economic Area, this will only happen with the safeguards provided for by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).
Cookies and browser storage
When you leave your email, the site stores a technical cookie called “acq_demo” in your browser. For ninety days, it remembers that you can open the prototype. It doesn't contain your email or any other personal data and isn't used to profile you. The prototype also remembers, in your browser, the view and the language you chose. We don't use profiling cookies or third-party analytics tools.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, restrict its processing, receive it in a readable format and object to its processing, by writing to privacy@acq.world. You can also lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it), or with the data protection authority in your country.
